The first residents in Radford, VA are now connected to high-speed, symmetrical Internet from Xfinity. This is a key milestone in the network expansion project that will deliver high-speed connectivity to nearly 10,000 Radford homes and businesses, joining more than 64 million locations nationwide already connected to America’s smartest and most reliable converged WiFi network.

Residents can visit Xfinity.com/mytown and enter their addresses to check for serviceability or additional details on construction timing. As construction continues, new homes and businesses will be connected in phases – with the entire project expected to be completed in 2028. Residents can also visit their nearby Xfinity Store located at 2475 North Franklin Place, Christiansburg, VA 24073.
Xfinity’s most recent expansion to Radford is part of the company’s latest investment in Virginia, which also includes network expansion projects in the following areas:
- Town of Bedford, VA – Construction is underway, with services already available to some residents and businesses within the 4,500-location project footprint.
- Buchanan, VA – Some residents have access to services and construction is expected to be complete next summer.
- Christiansburg, VA – Services are available to more than 13,700 homes and businesses following the completion of a recent expansion project.
- Lynchburg, VA – Services are available to more than 12,000 additional homes and businesses following the completion of an expansion project which covered locations in the City of Lynchburg, Campbell County and Forest.
- Strasburg, VA – Services are available to more than 3,300 homes and businesses following the completion of a recent expansion project.
